Vom höchsten Punkt der Stadt Brandenburg an der Havel - dem Aussichtsturm auf dem Marienberg - hat man einen weiten Blick über das Brandenburger Umland und die Stadt zu Füßen des "Berges".

Der Marienberg wird 2015 ein zentraler Punkt für die Bundesgartenschau (BUGA2015) sein.
