Monsanto's Panoramic Restaurant
Lisbon
The panoramic Monsanto building is located in the Parque Florestal de Monsanto, Lisbon, is the place with the best view over the city. Built by the city of Lisbon in 1968, is abandoned for over 10 years, in a state of degradation and uncertain future. The building seven thousand square meters, designed by architect Chaves da Costa as restaurant, integrates several works of art - panels and reliefs by Querubim Lapa, paint by Luis Dourdil and tile of Manuela Madureira, all this heritage is damaged by weather and by human hand.
