Mont saint-Baudille
Languedoc-Roussillon
Mont Saint-Baudille à l'extrémité sud-ouest du massif de la Séranne marquant le rebord méridional, du causse du Larzac. Il culmine à 848 mètres d'altitude. La vue s'étend sur toute la plaine viticole de l'Hérault jusqu'à la mer Méditerranée dans la portion comprise entre Sète, le mont Saint-Clair, Agde et l'ancien volcan du mont Saint-Loup.

Le donjon qui surplombe le village date du XII ème siècle. La forteresse du château permettait aux seigneurs de surveiller le massif des Cévennes et une partie du plateau du Larzac.

More About Languedoc-Roussillon

Languedoc-Roussillon is a French region which is composed of five departments. It is bounded by Spain, Andorra in the south and along the Mediterranean Sea (Gulf of Lions). Other French region limit the regions of Languedoc-Roussillon: Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, Rhone-Alpes, Auvergne, Midi-Pyrenees. The natural boundaries are the Pyrenees and the so-called threshold Lauragais, the Cévennes and the Rhône.In 2004, the Regional Council chose a joint new logo symbolizes the sun, which has the motto: "Living in Septimania.
