The monument was unveiled October 29, 1968 for the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol, was built with funds raised by members of the Komsomol Pershamaiski District of Izhevsk.


The gun symbolizes the exploits of fighter division, formed in Udmurtia and past with fights to the city of Prague.
