Pucon is a commune in the province of Cautín, belonging to the Araucania Region, located in southern Chile. Located 100 km southeast of Temuco and 780 km south of Santiago.


Electorally integrates with Gorbea, Cunco, Villarrica, Loncoche, Curarrehue and Toltén Precinct No. 52 and belongs to the 15th Senate District (South Araucania).

The town of Pucon, located on the eastern shore of Lake Villarrica, is known for being the largest lake resort in Chile, 1 with a large activity in the summer season. In your environment has a variety of tourist attractions that complement its beaches on the lake, as spas, ski resorts, national parks, among others. The rural area has the attraction of long snowy volcanic cones, Fagaceae and coniferous forests, and lots of rushing rivers which are home to some of drawers, jumps, falls and rapids.

South America makes up the southern half of the Americas and a large part of Latin America. It's home to the world's longest mountain range, biggest waterfall and largest river -- even these mammoths pale in comparison to the stunning variety of life forms thriving in the rainforest.
