Nanjing - China Gate - Castle -11

Nanjing Zhonghua Gate is located just south of the city of Nanjing Ming Dynasty, Hongwu Hongwu years to eight years (1369 ~ 1375) in the Tang capital Jiangning Song provisional capital Jiankang prefectural government and the site of extension built from South Gate, was called Treasure doors, China's ancient military defensive architecture. She is located in the north Yuhuatai area, in front of the inner and outer Qinhuai River runoff after the east-west, south transport links long thousands of bridges, connecting the town of Huai north bridge, south of the Old City of Nanjing traffic throat lies. Nanjing Zhonghua Gate Urn is China's largest existing within the castle barbican gate (as of 2012), it is considered the world's best preserved and most complex of the ancient castle gates. Republic of China two years (1931) National Treasure door for the Chinese government renamed the door, 1982 by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection units.
