New Town Hall

Spring impression from the New Town Hall, rear view. Built in 1913, its nearly 100m high dome is famous for the elevator, running up on a non vertical (originally wooden) track.

Hanover or Hannover on the river Leine, is the capital of the federal state of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen), Germany.With a population of 523,000 the city is a major center of northern Germany, known for hosting annual commercial expositions such as the Hanover Fair and the CeBIT. Hanover also has regional importance because of its universities and medical school, its international airport, and its large zoo.
