Oakhurst Baptist Church, Decatur, Georgia 3

Oakhurst Baptist Church was constituted in 1913, after organizing as a Sunday School in 1908. In 1920, the church purchased the current property. An educational building was built behind the sanctuary in 1942. There were 1,359 members. By 1963, the church celebrated its 50th anniversary and had its peak membership of 1376.
