Okara bridge-Almostthere2
Northland

Viewed from the west, the gap between bascule and the northern section of bridge can be seen as a very small gap. In fact about four metres are left before the bridge is complete.

More About Northland

Auckland is the commercial capital of New Zealand but anything to the North can be considered "Northland". Preferred destination for tourists and workers alike when surf, sand, diving and fishing is involved. It has a solid rural base of Dary, Beef and Sheep as well as horticulture and wineyards. Whangarei is the regional city on the way up to Cape Reinga at the northernmost tip of the island.
