Olive field - Terra Alta
Spain
The olive tree is a perennial tree present throughout the Mediterranean region. It is most frequent in the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, the Valencian Country and Andalusia, where the largest plantations are located. Al Principat is quite this troba throughout the territory, but the counties of Les Garrigues, Baix Ebre, Montsià and Tarragonès are the most typical areas dedicated to this conreu. Currently it is also cultivated in other countries with similar climates, such as Peru, Xile, California and southern Australia. Author: Wikipedia
