On The Railway Mali Zvornik - Loznica

The Railway line Loznica - Mali Zvornik was built after the Second World War (in 1950's) and continues to stripe Loznica - Sabac. In the village Brasina one branch goes over the bridge on the Drina River to Zvornik in Bosnia and further to Tuzla. Before construction of this railroad there was a narrow gauge railway form Loznica to Koviljaca Spa. The line Loznica - Koviljaca Spa was built in 1910 for the transport of passengers to favorite picnic place of King Peter I Karadjordjevic. Today's line was previously used for passenger and freight traffic but is now due to poor condition used only for freight traffic.
