为抗美援朝后勤补给修建的特殊车站
位于丹东东北方向40多公里的上河口村，本是一座普通的辽东村落。村子紧靠着鸭绿江边，对面是朝鲜的清水市。但一座为抗美援朝专门建造、运行的火车站，使上河口走进了历史。曾经被美军轰炸过的上河口铁桥依然完好，静静地矗立在铁路线的尽头。 上河口站建于1950年11月。当时抗美援朝刚刚打响，小站的建立，使得上河口铁路大桥与朝鲜清水站紧紧相接，成为继丹东通向朝鲜的第二个口岸站，也是志愿军运输兵力和后勤补给的秘密通道。1951年，丹东的鸭绿江大桥被炸坏中断行车后，上河口站成为战争运输和后勤补给的主要通道。直到1956年，上河口站完成了战时任务，废弃停用至今。
