Philadelphia Water Works Fairmount Park
Philadelphia

Located behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art is the FairmountWater Works. This was the second water works for the city. Designed in 1812 by Frederick Graff and was built between 1812 and 1872. This was state of the art for the time. It operated  until 1909. I now has a restuarant and is a wonderful place over looking the Schuylkill River.
