The beach of Salt mines is probably the most concurred of the council. It is placed in Villa de Salinas, one of the wished zones more of all the Asturian territory. At the beginning of century a station was considered bath. The spa that already years ago had stopped working, was demolished in the year 2000 for the reforms of the marine stroll, one of his more tourist propose outstanding. One extends from the museum of the Anchors arriving to the beach of San Juan, which is contiguous with Ría de Avilés.
