The top terrace of the gardens at Powis Castle just below the entrance courtyard. The clipped yews are an important feature of the terraced gardens at Powis. The 2 either side of the camera position are small compared to the huge yew hedge that divides the terraces from the formal gardens. Back in the day, it took a team of 10 guys, 4 months to clip the yew trees and hedging. Looking across the Great Lawn you can see the Woodland Wilderness and Powys countryside beyond.
