The first harmonic Sokobanja

 Now back in the 1962nd year, there is the idea to organize a competition in playing the accordion in Soko Banja, like competition then "Meetings of the village", aspiring to become a serious event, to which it came. He immediately went into implementation. The former set designer of the National Theatre in Belgrade Erich Decker proposed to do the forest stage of the project cylinders, the same material at most kiosks and a small river passing through the spring.
 Workers Cultural Center headed by Serbia with the presence of organizing auditions known performers and composers of accordion Mica Stojanovic. From the beginning there was a lot of interested candidates and competitors. Year after year, the competition turns into a big festival is widely known.
The name of the festival several times changed. First it was the first accordion Sokobanja, Serbia, Yugoslavia, and today it is the international festival "The first hramonika Sokobanja".
 Today, accordionists compete from auditions, through the quarterfinals, semifinals, the finals (which will be held in August). The competition in six categories: pioneers, juniors, juniors, duets, seniors and reward the best performers in the diaspora. Each year the report is usually about 100-15o competitors. The jury assesses the playing of the given theme, musical theme of your choice of competitors, playing technique, performance, stage performance ...
 One can not say with certainty exactly how many participants there so far. On average it is between 5000 and 7000 performers. The fun part of the event "First Accordion Sokobanja" were the famous singers and entertainers. It is a direct TV and radio broadcasts.
Organizers were Tourism Organization, Center for Culture Sokobanja, "Lepterija" SO Sokobanja madijski sponsors RTS, Politika Express, Evening News and then Radio Television Sokobanja. The jury members were the most famous experts in this field, masters of music, academics, professors ...
 This festival was visited by competitors from all former rpublika, as well as competitors from Europe, Australia, America.

This is an overview of Europe

Europe is generally agreed to be the birthplace of western culture, including such legendary innovations as the democratic nation-state, football and tomato sauce.

The word Europe comes from the Greek goddess Europa, who was kidnapped by Zeus and plunked down on the island of Crete. Europa gradually changed from referring to mainland Greece until it extended finally to include Norway and Russia.

Don't be confused that Europe is called a continent without looking like an island, the way the other continents do. It's okay. The Ural mountains have steadily been there to divide Europe from Asia for the last 250 million years. Russia technically inhabits "Eurasia".

Europe is presently uniting into one political and economic zone with a common currency called the Euro. The European Union originated in 1993 and is now composed of 27 member states. Its headquarters is in Brussels, Belgium.

Do not confuse the EU with the Council of Europe, which has 47 member states and dates to 1949. These two bodies share the same flag, national anthem, and mission of integrating Europe. The headquarters of the Council are located in Strasbourg, France, and it is most famous for its European Court of Human Rights.

In spite of these two bodies, there is still no single Constitution or set of laws applying to all the countries of Europe. Debate rages over the role of the EU in regards to national sovereignty. As of January 2009, the Lisbon Treaty is the closest thing to a European Constitution, yet it has not been approved by all the EU states.
