Camspsite on the John Muir/Rae Lakes Loop trails on the west side between the southern-most two of Rae Lakes. The Painted Lady rises to the South, and Black Mountain to the East, with Dragon Lake and Peak lurking in the gap between them. The glacial valley of Woods Creek South Fork stretches to the North.
