Rue de l'Ancien Courrier
Languedoc-Roussillon
C'est la rue reliant la rue Saint Guilhem à celle de l'Argenterie en passant par la demeure du roi Jacques d'Aragon 1er. Au n° 5 il y a la façade arrière de l'Hôtel de Montcalm. C'est dans l'immeuble du n°13 que se tenait en 1717 le "bureau des lettres" qui a donné son nom à cette voie. Antérieurement elle s'est appelée "rue de l'Anelerie" (fabrication des anneaux ) ou des Ânes . Au n° 15 il y a l'église catholique orthodoxe avec ses belles salles voûtées d'ogives. Arrivé à la moitié de cette voie, vous pouvez joindre facilement l'Église Saint Roch.

Languedoc-Roussillon is a French region which is composed of five departments. It is bounded by Spain, Andorra in the south and along the Mediterranean Sea (Gulf of Lions). Other French region limit the regions of Languedoc-Roussillon: Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, Rhone-Alpes, Auvergne, Midi-Pyrenees. The natural boundaries are the Pyrenees and the so-called threshold Lauragais, the Cévennes and the Rhône.In 2004, the Regional Council chose a joint new logo symbolizes the sun, which has the motto: "Living in Septimania.
