Runkel Castle destroyed Palas 2014

Runkel Castle is a popular destination in the Lahn valley. The medieval fort consists of the upper castle and the main castle, also called lower castle. The panorama was made in the palace of the upper castle. The former living area burned during the Thirty Years' War in 1634.
