Saldanha Square
Lisbon
The Saldanha Square is one of the most central areas of Lisbon.The monument in the Square was designed by Thomas Costa and Ventura Terra, and it is a tribute to the Duke of Saldanha, who distinguished himself as a military leader in participation in the Napoleonic wars and Liberal Wars.

Capital, largest, and wealthiest city in Portugal and one of the leading economic centers on the Iberian Peninsula.
