Sakaiká Fall, Gran Sabana, Canaima National Park (Venezuela)

In the eastern sector of Canaima National Park, and taking the road heading north at km 180 of the Core 10 in the Gran Sabana, is the bath place and waterfall called Sakaika. Sakaika in the native language, Pemón, means kingfisher. The track is composed mainly of sand and mud is formed in rainy season that can only be traversed with 4x4 vehicles.

The fall consists of two waterfalls, the first of about 30 meters wide and 5 high and the second stage by is a large 30 meters high drop surrounded by big rocks and trees and that leads forming a pool in which people can take a refreshing swim in the Kamoirán river.
