San Vicente De La Barquera View From The Castillo Del Rey
Northern Spain

The Castillo del Rey was built in 1210 on a rocky outcrop overlooking the bay of San Vicente de la Barquera.

The fort has a total length of 54 meters, while its imposing walls in some areas reach a thickness of 2.5 m. and they extended (are still present in part) along the slopes of the rock enclosing the old town.
