Ships crossing the channel of Lefkada - Ammoglossa
Greece

Lefkada is an island you can drive to. Its so close to the mainland that it is connected by road. It naturally creates a channel that ships can cross. Traffic stops, the floating bridge turns and ships can pass. That is exactly what we see on this pano. The location is called Ammoglossa meaning sand tongue and it is a great place for a swim.
