Shunsian Temple, Neimen
Taiwan

The construction of Shunsian Temple began in 2000 and ended on October 10, 2008. An elegant Southern palace-style structure with colorful paintings of Mazu performing miracles and ceiling paintings of the tiger god, the temple attracts large crowds from near and far who come to pray. There is a “Holy Mother Lake” in front of the temple that is beautiful during sunset. The area is an excellent destination for worship and for leisure travel, tourism and overnight lodging. Shunsian Temple’s Sung-Jiang Formation is well known locally and is now developing into a professional performing arts group. The national Sung-Jiang Formation Carnivals were hosted here in 2009 and 2010.
