Slate Mill Inside Ynys Y Pandy Wales Uk
Wales
The Slate Mill at Ynys-y-Pandy was built around 1856 but as the quality of the slate diminished the site was only used until 1871. Inside a deep pit housed an 8m (26 foot) overshot water mill to provide power for the tools.
