On a November day, view of the Strasbourg Cathedral from the platform. View as well of the old city center, the Krutenau area and the University campus in front of the Esplanade area. The platform is 66 meters high, after the stairs accessible on the side of the cathedral. On the side of the cathedral, the lycée Fustel de Coulanges is visible. The tower was then under repair by the office in charge of the preservation, the Oeuvres Notre-Dame fundation.

L'Alsace est une région très gastronomique. La choucroute, la flammenckueche (tarte flambée), le bretzel, sont quelques-unes des spécialités locales.
