Sung Shan Air Force Base
August 14th is the Air Force festival to remember the first air battle victory of ROC Air Force in August 14th 1937.

That day, the enemy (Japanese Army Air Force) wing group was takeoff from Taipei Sung Shan AB, the same base we celebration today. In fact, this event has been delayed twice due to 2 typhoons.

It is really hard to see such a air force event in Taipei, Sung Shan AFB is the same as the Taipei Songshan Airport. But the entrance to the openhouse is located on Mingchuan East Road.
