Tawharanui Beach

Tawharanui beach is an great spot to go in summertime. Behind this part of the beach you can see the camp grounds, one of the best camping spots we have discovered with lots of space and never crowded even when the grounds are full.

More About Northland

Auckland is the commercial capital of New Zealand but anything to the North can be considered "Northland". Preferred destination for tourists and workers alike when surf, sand, diving and fishing is involved. It has a solid rural base of Dary, Beef and Sheep as well as horticulture and wineyards. Whangarei is the regional city on the way up to Cape Reinga at the northernmost tip of the island.
