    Yo crecí en esta casa en los 60's, fuimos los últimos en vivir alli, nadie mas habitó en ella después que nos fuimos. Mi padre la arregló muy bien, hizo una terraza en el jardín, donde estaba el juego de sapo, fulbito a mano, dardos, le puso luces fluorescentes verdes a lo largo de los muros que le daba un ambiente especial de noche, tambien faroles coloniales a lo largo de la fachada principal, puso parlantes debajo del pino y la parra de uvas. Tuvimos toda clase de animales, perros, un gato, tortugas, un monito, y unas 60 palomas que quedaron volando alrededor de la casa por muchos años. Mi padre iba a comprar la casa, la dueña quería venderla, pero parece que los hijos se oponian y ocurrio el terremoto de 1970 que partió la casa literalmente en dos, parece que hubo un deslizamiento de tierra subterráneo y el piso del comedor se levantó. Ahora veo esta foto con cierta nostalgia y sorpresa también de no ver ninguna grieta en el terreno, quien sabe, tal vez un ingeniero geólogo deba inspeccionar el terreno bien antes de construir. Dejamos la casa en 1971, y con ella muchos gratos recuerdos que jamas olvidaremos. Dejamos el paíss y vinimos a los Estados unidos. Solo por curiosidad, ¿esta el terreno en venta, o ya lo compraron?     South America makes up the southern half of the Americas and a large part of Latin America. It's home to the world's longest mountain range, biggest waterfall and largest river -- even these mammoths pale in comparison to the stunning variety of life forms thriving in the rainforest.
