The Green Peat Below Nevado Huapi

The following morning I gathered correctly where Nevado Haupi is and slogged up a steep scree to reach this amazingly green plateau by the foot of it. Covered with cushion plant and mosses and fed by glacial melts the peat is too soft to tread upon and one has to skirt alongside it and at that time I thought the elusive mountain pass is that little ridge right on the shoulder of Nevado Haupi with Pucaranra.
