The Mountain Amphitheater of Ausangate
Peru

I thought I would take this one last chance to see whether I could have a better view of the surrounding mountains when I took this side trip to an outcrop on the descent to Pacchanta. The weather wasn't promising to start off with but I was pleasantly surprised that the low clouds lifted momentarily as I was up at the top to have all the peaks in this snap clearly.

From left ro right are the followings respectively :

Pachanta (5,950m)

Jatunhuma (6,093m)

Qampa (5,500m)

Huayruro Punco (5,550m)

Mariposa (5,808m)

Ausangate (6,384m)
