the Santaclara Museum
The Santaclara Museum is a really cool museum located in the La Candelaria neighborhood of Bogotá, Colombia. It's housed in an old convent building that used to be home to a group of nuns called the clarisas. When you first walk in, you'll notice the stunning colonial architecture and the peaceful courtyard. Inside the museum, you'll find exhibits that showcase the history and culture of Colombia. One of the highlights is the gold room, where you can see a variety of intricate gold artifacts that were created by indigenous peoples in Colombia. There are also exhibits that showcase the history of the clarisas and their impact on the community. Overall, the Santaclara Museum is a must-see if you're in Bogotá and interested in learning more about the history and culture of Colombia. The building itself is a piece of history, and the exhibits are really informative and well-curated.
