June 10, 2012 marked the 125th anniversary of the Trammell House in Marietta, Georgia, an example of Queen Anne architecture. It was built by Col. Trammell, one of the state’s most influential citizens of the 19th century. He served as president of the Georgia Senate and was chairman of the State Railroad Commission, known today as the Public Service Commission.
