The Wedge Overlook is actually a series of overlooks along the cliffs of the "Little Grand" canyon carved by the San Rafael river within the San Rafael Swell in Utah. The overlook is accessed by a series of well graded (non-asphalt) roads. As you climb in elevation on your way to the overlook the river cuts in the other direction, carving a very deep impressive canyon. From the overlook, you could see rafters winding their way down this fairly calm section of the river.
