The Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) dominates this panorama, an ancient structure built on the river Guadalquivir running through Seville. The tower’s name comes from the fact that the top was once covered in gold tiles, meaning it was quite visible throughout Seville as it reflected the sunlight.
