US 6 & 50 Sevier river bridge spring runoff
Utah

The level of the Sevier river due to spring runoff has approached the flooding stage.  An additional barrier has been constructed to protect the apartments from flooding.

During the flood of 1983, the ground level of the apartments was almost completely submerged.  The flood washed out the bridge which had to be re-built.
