Hinter der Koksbatterie 4 befindet sich die Gaswäsche. Diese Aufnahme zeigt die andere Seite dieser Anlage. Bei der Produktion von Koks entsteht Gas, aus dem u.a. Teer, Benzol und Schwefel gewonnen wird. Vor der Weiterverarbeitung wird das Kokereirohgas heruntergekühlt und anschließend in Gasreinigern gewaschen.

Germany? Before the beginning there was Ginnungagap, an empty space of nothingness, filled with pure creative power.
