View over Athens

If you go from the Acropolis up Filopappou you will be rewarded with a stunning view of Athens. You can see all the way down to Piraeus and the island of Aigina behind, then Nikaia and Egaleo in the west. You can see the Acropolis and Lykavittos mountain right next to it and all the surrounding mountains

    More About Athens

Athens, the capital and largest city of Greece, dominates the Attica periphery: as one of the world's oldest cities, its recorded history spans at least 3,000 years.
