St. Katherine's Monastery in South Sinai attracts many visitors from all over the world. The Orthodox monks keep eucalyptus, olives and almonds in their gardens on the foot of the holy Mount Sinai, the highest mountain on the peninsula.

Egypt ; Arabic: مصر‎, Miṣr or Máṣr) is a country mainly in North Africa, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Western Asia.
