This monastery is built on the outskirts of Iaşi. Called in Chronicles "Poiana Vladicai". Where ruler Alexandru cel Bun and the Metropolitan Iosif Musat encountered in Iasi , in 1415, the procession who cared the relics of the St. Martyr Ioan from Trapezunt to Suceava.
