Winchester, Cathedral, Saint Swithun
England

Winchester Cathedral - Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity - is an Anglican cathedral in Winchester, Hampshire. It is the longest gothical cathedral in Europe. You can also see St. Swithun’s memorial shrine and Fyodorov’s iconostasis. Saint Swithun died in the year 862. He was bishop of Winchester. There is a proverb saying: St Swithun's day if thou dost rain / For forty days it will remain / St Swithun's day if thou be fair / For forty days 'twill rain nae mare.
