chapelle St Felix merry la vallee yonne france

La chapelle aurait été construite sur le lieu du martyr d'un jeune enfant appelé Félix, à la fin du V ème siècle. Elle fuf restaurée entre 1992 et 1995.Le peintre Marcel Poulet réalise des peintures murales sur le thème de l'enfance maltraités dans le monde.

France is affectionately referred to as "the Hexagon" for its overall shape.French history goes back to the Gauls, a Celtic tribe which inhabited the area circa 300BC until being conquered by Julius Caesar.The Franks were the first tribe to adopt Catholic Christianity after the Roman Empire collapsed.
