The walk to the Old Man of Storr is quite a hard going affair . It is approximately a 1hr 15min walk for those fitter walkers , is about 5.6km round trip and around a 300m climb from the car park .

There are several paths which lead to the top of the climb and beyond which begins with a beautiful walk through the forest from the car park area .

It's well worth the effort as the Old Man is a sight to be seen close up and makes for some fantastic photo's with the surrounding scenery and fantastic views of the island of Raasay .
