Pillnitz Castle & Park, Chinese Garden

This former summer residence of the Saxon royal dynasty is the largest palace complex in Europe.

Augustus the Strong, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony in 18c rebuilt the Palace into an oriental summer palace according plans by the famous architect Matthaeus Daniel Poeppelmann.
