Officially named Charilaos Trikoupis (Greek Prime Minister that first suggest the construction of the Bridge in the 19th century uniting the town of Rio and Antirio), Rio Antirio bridge connects the town of Rio (Peloponnese) to the Antirio (mainland). Next to the bridge you will find The Fortress of Rion built in 1499 also used as a prison.
