Putin is anything but in the dock. In fact this is a mock-trial (inquiry) in absence of the slandered victim. Anything can be claimed. Of course for that simple matter it bears no relevance. Stupid talk to keep the hype up against Russia. - Litvinenko was nothing more than a turncoat and a rat betraying his country. He would claim anything since the KGB no longer was willing to issue paycheques to such a traitor. -- In fact chances are very high that the MI6 liquidated Litvinenko to blame Putin at a time, when Litvinenko had passed on all the secrets and was no longer use to the western spy agencies. A dead Litvinenko seemed to be more useful than an turncoat. http://tiny.cc/sjastx here is more about Putin.
