Auckland – located on the North Island of New Zealand between the Pacific Ocean and the Hauraki Gulf – is the largest city of the country. Mount Eden is a cinder cone / extinct volcano located in an suburb of Auckland rising 196 metres above sea level. Its crater is 50 metres in depth.
