在這裡，可以看見地球數百萬年前造山運動留下來的痕跡，使貴子坑成為台北市內一座最佳的戶外地質教室。貴子坑周邊的山水磨坑、獵鷲坑等地，不但有竹雞與白頭翁等野生動物造訪，天空中還經常可以看到老鷹及其他鳥類呼嘯盤旋。但早期的濫採開墾，也使貴子坑得天獨厚的地理生態造成嚴重的破壞。直至六十八年，台北市政府建設局對貴子坑展開地理生態的復建計畫，這一切才慢慢有了轉機。

在小弧丘的平台，還可以眺望台北市，園區不遠處還有不動瀑布環區登山健行步道，可繞行至小坪頂、國華高爾夫球場，以及大屯山上的觀光柑橘園等。
