Opposite Kaohsiung Museum of History, 228 Memorial Monument was built in 2005 to commemorate the 228 Incident and its victims. Every year, people gather here on February 28th for the commemorative ceremony. The surroundings of the 228 Memorial Monument is peaceful, quiet, full of trees, and the atmosphere is solemn. With a vast view, this location is the best place to have a view of the City, no matter if it’s in the morning or evening.
