"Make Ice Art" | Ice Sculpture exhibition at Bastejkalns, Riga, Latvia
Riga

Ice sculpture park "Make Ice Art" will be a true dreamland in the centre of Riga this winter, surrounded by sparkling snow and dark trees.

Ice sculptures made by sculptors who have successfully participated in Latvian as well as foreign ice sculpture festivals - Uldis and Krists Zariņš, Agnese Rudzīte, Kārlis Īle and others, will be on display at Bastejkalns Hill in downtown Riga.
The theme of the sculpture park, "Where Dreams Meet", will make it possible for the sculptors to materialise their dreams as well as the dreams of the visitors. The sculptures displayed in the park will intertwine with musical imagery, with music composed especially for the event playing in the background all the while. Hot drinks will also be served in the park.

Ledus skulptūru parks "Kur sapņi satiekas"

Pirms pašiem Ziemassvētkiem, no 22. decembra plkst.

More About Riga

Originated from a small fishermen village, for centuries Riga has been an important part of the trade chain between Russia and Western Europe. A lively crossroad of cultures and backgrounds for over 800 years, the historical centre of Riga has accumulated an impressive cultural baggage and today is justly included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list.
